What is concierge medicine?
Concierge medicine is a membership-based model that offers personalized, relationship-driven healthcare focusing on prevention, access and time. It’s built around you, not around insurance paperwork or rushed appointments.
How is concierge care different from traditional primary care?
Concierge care means longer appointments, same- or next-day scheduling, 24/7 communication access to your physician and fewer patients per doctor—so your care is never rushed or reactive. You get time, attention and proactive support that traditional practices can’t offer.
Do you take insurance?
Your concierge membership fee is paid separately from insurance and covers your exclusive concierge services. Insurance is billed separately for eligible medical services, including office visits, labs, imaging and medications.
How much does concierge medicine cost?
Membership is $2,800 per year, billed at a monthly rate of $233.33. Your membership fee covers our concierge services and is paid separately from insurance. Office visits are billed to your insurance—copays or deductibles may apply.
Is this covered by my HSA or FSA?
Many patients use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) to pay for a concierge membership. We recommend confirming eligibility with your benefits provider.
What happens if I need care while traveling or out of town?
You’ll still communicate directly with your physician for guidance and virtual support. We can also help you find local care and coordinate follow-up when you return.
Can I join just for my aging parent or family member?
Yes. Many of our members are adult children seeking personalized, attentive care for a loved one, and we welcome those conversations.
What if I have a medical emergency?
Always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room in a life-threatening situation. After emergency care, your concierge physician will stay in touch, coordinate follow-up and help manage next steps.
Can I keep my current specialists?
Of course. We’ll work with any specialists you already see and are happy to help coordinate and communicate with them to keep your care connected.
Is there a limit to how often I can be seen?
No. Your membership includes unlimited access to your physician and care team, with no extra visits, communication or time fees.
Do you see pediatric patients?

Our concierge medicine practice is focused on adult care and does not accept pediatric patients. However, we’re happy to provide our members with referrals to trusted pediatric providers in the area to support the health and wellness of your entire family.

Do you offer telemedicine services?
We offer telemedicine visits for consultations and follow-up care, allowing you to visit with your physician from the comfort of your home. Your physician will work with you to determine if a telemedicine visit is appropriate for your symptoms.
Can I still see my specialist provider?
As a member of Texas A&M Health Concierge Medicine, you are encouraged to continue seeing specialists, when needed. We work closely with a trusted network of specialists and can help coordinate referrals. Our goal is to make your healthcare experience as seamless as possible while helping you receive the highest quality specialty care.
